- Every established order tends to produce the naturalization of its own arbitrariness. (Pierre Bourdieu)
Hello, my name is Timo…
I’m an undergraduate ‘Sociology’ student at University of Vienna. Currently I’m working as teaching assistant for the lecture ‘Basics of Methodology in Social Sciences‘ at the Faculty of Social Sciences at University of Vienna.
Before I did move to Vienna I finished my Bachelor degree in Business Information Management and worked four years for IBM in different job positions and countries.
I’m interested in the intersection of science, technology and society as well as in the topics education and sustainability. Within my current studies I’m focusing primary on the impact of technology to society and the other way around. In terms of theories I’m dealing a lot with social constructivism as well as critical theory.
In my leisure I love to code web applications, read specialist literature and write poems as well as novels myself.
